This new P&P movie is adapted from the representative novel of Jane Austin. It widely reflect the true state of British people in conservative town in the late 18th to early 19th century.
Love can not live without romance. Love can not live away from reality. And Pride and Prijudice discribes a love story, which relay on romance and reality, which are above the reality.
A good looking man named Mr. Darcy, who was born of the upper class and he is with a large property. Due to the superior background, he seems to be unavoidablely with pride attitude and behavior. And in a dancing ball, he met smart and independent Elizabeth, who was born in a host family, and with four sisters. His first impression on Elizabeth is:” She is tolerable, but not handsome enough to temt me.”, which exasperates Elizabeth. Actually, Mr Darcy was haughty and biased against Elizabeth’s family—her flighty younger sister and her mother. But eventually, this story has a beautiful ending, prejudice and misunderstanding are eliminated, people who fall in love should be together. Perhaps this good ending can atone the regret of love of the movies capital author Jane Austin left in her whole life.
However, what’s the most impressed and intrigued me, is not only the storyline, but the attractive background music. Ears are definitely filled with fascinating cello sound, the rich flavor, which let the movie’s atmosphere surrounds your mind. And the French pianist Jean-Yves Thibaudet played all piano songs in the movie, add to the English Chamber Orchestra, which all made the movie screen with numerous beauty.
